NANNA’S SHORTBREAS
INGREDIENTS
250g butter
½ cup caster sugar
½ cup rice flour
2 ½ cups plain flour

METHOD
Preheat oven to 150C. Beat the butter and sugar until creamy. Sift flour and mix in butter forming a dough.
Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Roll dough to approximately 1cm thick and cut into shapes using a cookie cutter.
Bake for 15-25 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow to cool before storing in an air-tight container.
